The American Red Cross Lifeguarding course provides participants the knowledge and skills to prevent recognize and respond to aquatic emergencies in both shallow water (less than 7 feet) and deeper water (7 feet or more) and to provide professional-level care for breathing and cardiac emergencies injuries and sudden illnesses until EMS personnel take over.
The American Red Cross Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED blended learning courses equips students to recognize and care for a variety of first aid breathing and cardiac emergencies involving adults children and infants

The Safety Training for Swim Coaches course is designed for personnel involved in competitive swimming and teaching them how to help maintain a comfortable and safe environment for swimmers, prevent accidents and emergencies, and respond to swimmers with illnesses or injuries in water or on land.
Courses designed to teach candidates how to become instructors

This course also known as WSI™ trains instructor candidates to teach courses and presentations in the American Red Cross Swimming and Water Safety program. To enroll instructor candidates must be at least 16 years of age on or before the last day of the instructor course and successfully complete the precourse session which includes demonstration of swimming skills at Learn-to-Swim Level 4.

The Lifeguarding Instructor course trains instructor candidates to teach American Red Cross Lifeguarding courses including Lifeguarding, Shallow Water Lifeguarding, Aquatic Attraction Lifeguarding, Waterpark Skills, Waterfront Skills, CPR/AED for Professional Rescuers, and Bloodborne Pathogens Training. Candidates must be 17 years of age to participate.

This course will train instructor candidates to teach basic-level American Red Cross First Aid CPR and AED courses. In order to participate in this course you must possess a current basic-level American Red Cross First Aid/CPR/AED (or higher level) certification or equivalent and be at least 16 years of age on the last day of the instructor course.

The Aquatic Facility Operator (AFO) certification provides the most comprehensive and up-to-date training on operations, mechanical systems, water chemistry, disinfection, safety and much more. AFO certification will help you or your staff better understand the entire pool system and run all types of aquatic facilities safely, efficiently and confidently.

This course focuses on performing an inspection of the pool and spa area; evaluating swimming pool operation and maintenance; assessing the circulation system and its components; evaluating a facility for VGB Act compliance; recognizing the elements of spa inspections; understanding recreational water illnesses; maintaining supervision and operator records; recognizing the elements of aquatic play features; and understanding swimming pool design standards and their impact on public health

Designed for those new to the pool industry or working a pool maintenance route, the Certified Pool & Spa Maintenance Specialist (CMS) course takes you through the PHTA Service Tech Manual and provides knowledge of industry standards for safety, pool circulation and filtration, pool maintenance, and water quality, as well as an introduction to electrical systems, pool structures and finishes, heaters and controls, and customer service.

This online self-paced course takes you through the PHTA Service Tech Manual and gives you what you need to know to conform to industry standards. You will be able to explain common problems with pool finishes and how to repair them; keep pools running more efficiently with a better understanding of circulation, filtration, hydraulics, and electricity; grow your practical knowledge and gain troubleshooting skills and resources.

The Certified Hot Tub Technician program covers the essentials of servicing portable hot tubs, and equipment repair and replacement. Students will gain a wide body of practical knowledge on servicing and troubleshooting factory built portable hot tubs regardless of brand; master the essentials of hot tub water chemistry, electrical systems, circulation, and filtration; and learned tips and tricks for basic repairs to interior surfaces.
